    Mary Alice Quiver-Addison was born on September 12th, 1942, in Ethete, Wyoming, to the late Nickerson Quiver and Alice Spoonhunter.

    Mary Alice attended St. Labre Indian School in Ashland, MT. Later attending Bacone College in Muskogee, OK for Business Management. For many years she worked for the Northern Arapaho Tribe. She married the late Kenny Jenkins and together they had one son, Alan Ronald Jenkins, Sr. Later on in life she married the late Albert “Beyta” Addison.

    She enjoyed helping her son raise his five children, along with enjoying the company of her many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In her down time she loved watching her shows, which were Longmire, Heartland, Criminal Minds, NCIS, etc. She loved animals, as she had owned many throughout her years. Mary Alice was fluent in the Arapaho language and loved speaking it to whomever could speak and understand.

    On October 22nd, 2021, Mary Alice passed away peacefully in her sleep. She will be missed greatly by many. 

    She is survived by her grandchildren: Alan Michael Jenkins, Jr., Richard Blase Jenkins, Darian Jenkins, Clay Jenkins, Alexandra Jenkins, Jolynn Quiver, Cheyenne Jenkins, Halle Goggles. Sisters: Laverne Hutchinson, Julia Whiteman, Anita Talks Different, Tillie Jenkins. Brothers: Harvey Spoonhunter, Theron Spoonhunter, Marlin Spoonhunter. Nieces: Marliss Quiver, Marceilia Redman, Lois Quiver, Victoria “Jolene” Quiver, Melvena Quiver, Cleo Goggles, Gloria Quiver. Great-grandchildren: Sean Wadda, Peyton Fletcher, Nancy Fletcher. Special friends: Alphia Friday, Arydenne Sage, Donna Trosper. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

    She was preceded in death by her son, Alan Ronald Jenkins, Sr. and her husband, Albert “Beyta” Addison. Parents: Nickerson Quiver and Alice Spoonhunter. Brothers:  Amiel, Avlin, Edlore and Reuben Quiver. Nieces: Ruby  Whiteplume, Debra Bell. Nephews: Wesley “Hoss” Quiver, Sr. Grandchildren: Theron D. Quiver, Stephen Big Medicine.
