    In loving memory, Lincoln Robert Scott

    There will be a Celebration of Life on November 6th, 2021 at  the VFW in Lander Wy at 10:00a.m.  for Lincoln Robert Scott who passed peacefully on September 26, 2021 in Casper Wyoming after a short illness.

    He was 67 yrs old.

    Lincoln was born and raised in Lander Wy. to James and Jacky Scott on August 12, 1954.

    He was a graduate from LVHS in 1972, served 3 years in the military and then graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s in Electronic Engineering.  He later attended Cooks College and received his Master’s in Electronic Engineering.

    He was Co-Owner of Scott Music, and later was owner and operator of Scott Electronics and Satellite.  He also worked as Engineer to 3 different local radio stations.  In 2018 he retired from Union Cellular as one of the Field Engineers.  In  early 2000 he took great pride in serving  with the Lander Rotary Club  as Treasure and later President.

    Lincoln met Darlene Lemons in Lander and 6 weeks later made her his wife of 39 years.  Over the years his love for music found him playing drums in local churches and finally in their band called Sweet Water Praise for over 6 years.  

    Lincoln loved his life and you could tell by the smile he always had for all that knew him. He was a quiet, quick witted, gentle soul who always looked for the good in everyone he met. He was an excellent husband, father, grandfather, friend and brother.

    He is preceded in death by both parents, and 2 brothers, Phillip and Martin.

    He is survived by his wife Darlene, daughters Hilary Scott and Christina Linn, sons Zachary Scott and Matthew Noetzelmann, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, brother Michael (Bonny) Scott of Idaho, sister Jennifer (John) Funk of Texas, sister-in-law Leesa  Scott and numerous nephews and nieces.
