Johnny (War Pony) Tillman

On Saturday December 04, 2021 Johnny Tillman began his journey home to be with the creator. A wake will be held at Claire and Shawn Ware Residence on 57 Shipton Lane, Fort Washakie on Thursday, December 9th services will be at 6:00 PM. Traditional Services will be held at the same place on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM, burial will follow at Whiteplume Cemetery, Ethete, WY.
Johnny was an avid traveler and he lived in many states.. He made his home these last years in Billings and Hardin MT. He enjoyed teasing and joking around with everyone. He cared deeply for family and was always willing to help others. Johnny was well loved by family and he will be missed. He knew sign language, and communicated in Shoshone, Arapaho, Crow and Cheyenne. He liked to bead, do leatherwork and gamble.
Johnny is survived by his sisters Valerie Tillman and sons: Sam Tillman, Brock Tillman and Shapiro Tillman, Claire (Shawn) Ware, Gaye (Lornie) Pinnecoose, Pam (Don) Gambler, Ginger Potter, Bippy Garcia, Mandy Running Crane, Bernadette Hanway, Charlie Conn, brothers Frank (Annie) Tillman and sons: Eddie Tillman, Daughter Sharel (Damon) SunRhodes, Henry Tillman, and Daughters: Tashina Tillman, Loretta and Alana Whiteman. Stanford (Gloria) St Clair, Alfred (Clarinda) Burson, CJ Potter, Jeff Conn, Marty Brown, Brian Brown, Robert Revere, Vernon Tillman and the Tillman Brothers, Aunts Leona Buckman, Marion Buckman, Elvina Buckman, Elva (Clayton) Running Crane, Georgetta Revere, Patricia Tillman, Sandra Tillman, Zelda Tillman, Uncles Leland Tillman. Nieces: Tuvita Shavehead and Collette Eagle, Many nieces, nephews and Grandchildren. Sorry if we missed all the names.
Johnny is preceded by his mother PhyllisTillman, Father Frank Tillman, Grandmother Laura Buckman, Grandfather John Buckman, Grandma Marjorie Tillman, and Grandpa Franklin Tillman. Aunts Beatrice Buckman, Adrianne Tillman, Uncles Edward and Alfred Buckman, Bennie Tillman, Lloyd Tillman, Reuban Tillman and Lee Tillman. Brothers William (Billie) Tillman, Walter Brown, Gus Potter, Sisters Sandra Tillman, Michelle Brown, Cynthia St Clair, Donna Potter, Rose Potter, Nephew Nathan Tillman, Nonday Tillman, Willis Tillman,and SonnyBoy Whiteman.
