    In loving memory, Frank Harris

    Frank Harris, 77 of Arapahoe passed away at his home in Arapahoe on Friday December 3rd, 2021. According to his wishes he has been cremated and there will be
    no service.


    Frank Rueben Harris was born on August 11, 1944, in Pinedale, WY to Leroy W. and Vera V. (Wise) Harris. He grew up in the Riverton area living in Hudson, Arapahoe, and Riverton with two brothers and a sister. He attended school at Arapahoe completing the 8 th grade. Frank was a heavy equipment operator, mechanic, and dynamite technician. He worked for multiple uranium mines both underground and open pits; he also worked for Fremont County Road Dept.


    He loved breaking horses and working with cattle, also the outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping. He was always willing to help friends and neighbors with farming, cattle, and mechanizing. He also did carpentry work. Frank was busy all the time either doing his own projects or helping others.

    Frank is survived by his wife of 57 years, Laura R. Harris, daughter Sherry Andersen, (husband Willie) of Riverton, Wy., Son Jed Harris, (wife Cindy) of Arapahoe, WY. , Robert Harris of Casper, WY., Grandchildren Launa Grubb, (husband Kevin), Arron Andersen (wife Amie), Levi Harris (fiancée Rusty), Lindsey Taylor (husband Tyler), Ty Harris (wife Hannahleigh), seven great grandchildren and 1 on the way, brothers, Leroy “Sonny” Harris, Fred Harris (wife Rose), sister Alice Harris, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Vera Harris.


    Family is grateful and appreciative for all condolences, thoughts, and prayers received. Frank will be greatly missed by many.
