    In loving memory, Donna Kennah

Donna Kennah, 84, passed away April 27, 2022, at Help for Health Hospice in Riverton, Wyoming.

Donna Jean (Potter) Kennah was born in Lusk, Wyoming November 6, 1937, to Bob and Suzanne Potter.

Donna lived in many small oil towns throughout Wyoming as her father was an oil field supervisor and pumper for Continental Oil Company. She graduated from Midwest High School at 16 and attended business college in Billings, Montana. She was employed by Pan-Am Oil Company in Casper when she met Joe Kennah. They married November 6, 1957 and welcomed twin daughters Patti and Mikey and sons Greg and Brian.

The family moved from Casper to Lander in 1969, where Joe and Donna owned and operated Joe’s Place men’s western wear clothing store. Donna also worked and retired from Central Bank and Trust at the same time. In 1995, Joe and Donna partnered with daughter Mikey and son-in-law Don Gunsaullus to establish Dry Creek Oil Field Service, which operated until 2017.

Our family was Mom’s world, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom was always up for any kind of family gathering, and was famous for her Sugar and Spice cookies, caramel cinnamon rolls and just about anything she made.

In retirement, Joe and Donna enjoyed traveling with friends and family. Donna kept busy volunteering with the Lander Food Bank, City Park play area project, and filling shoe boxes for needy children. Donna also served as a member of the Mountain Vista Retirement Residence Board of Directors.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Sue Potter, in-laws Henry and Felicia Kennah, numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as nieces and nephews.
