If you like to take control of your own health, Dr. Candy Turner is your ideal physician
One of the most rewarding parts of Dr. Candy’s job is “helping and educating people about their own bodies.” She has a gift for explaining complicated things in terms that make sense to her patients.
In her 28 years as a Primary Care Physician, she developed a deep passion for serving elderly and hospice patients. “I have always felt they were marginalized and an underserved population,” explained Dr. Candy. “Their ailments can be more complicated. But where no treatment can be found, I can at least help them understand and come to terms with their health. We work through it together.”
This health-empowerment philosophy is what draws many to her door.
Thankfully, it looks like Dr. Candy and her husband Dr. Joe Turner are here to stay. Their love for the mountain ranges, hiking trails, wildlife, and other “hidden gems” of Fremont County were enough to make them put down roots and start building those lifelong relationships.
As a Primary Care Physician Dr. Candy can get to know you and build on your health history. With each appointment, you get more comfortable and appointments are efficient and effective. Often, your PCP can discover changes in you that you yourself may not have noticed.
“Medical care can be overwhelming,” said Dr. Candy. “I can help with that. Don’t be afraid to ask for clarification. I can even communicate with specialists for you. You’re not alone.”
