    Identities released of 2 Wyoming men who died in a plane crash

    Two men from Wyoming died in a plane crash in Roosevelt County, Montana on August 5th.

    Montana authorities had been waiting for the return of dental records before releasing identities of the deceased.

    James D. Heald of Recluse, Wyoming and Benjamin Robert Casey of Gillette, Wyoming were both found dead at the scene of the crash.

    The men were traveling in a Cessna 182 and crashed into a field. They were the only two people on board. According to the Gillette News-Record, the plane caught fire in the field and the bodies of both men were found after the plane had been extinguished.

    The Gillette News-Record reports the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.
