To my friends and neighbors in Wyoming House District #54:
I am very grateful for the support of the voters in House District #54, this has been a very important election and having the confidence of the voters to be reelected is a reminder of the responsibility associated with an elected office.
The face of Fremont County’s representation has changed in this election cycle, Senator Eli Bebout and Representative Dave Miller, both legislative icons will not be back. Their leadership will be missed. I congratulate Ember Oakley and Pepper Ottman on their election to the legislature and welcome them to the House of Representatives. Congratulations to Tim Salazar who will now be sitting with the Senate after serving in the House. We, along with Andi Clifford who was re-elected to the House of Representatives and Senator Cale Case will work together for the best interests of Fremont County, and the State of Wyoming.
Wyoming is facing some challenges that will require diplomacy and statesmanship and most of all hard work from it’s legislature. I am committed to being part of the solution and not a stumbling block as delicate issues need to be debated. The future is bright if we make the right choices now. It is important that we hear from our Fremont Count citizens as we work to be informed on the issues.
