    How does Wyoming stack up among states that are best for doctors?

    (Wyoming) – The last 12 months have certainly put the spotlight on just how important the medical field is in our local communities. But, how does the least populated state state in the country stack up for doctors?

    According to data from a study by Wallethub, Wyoming is right in the middle, 26th overall.

    Wyoming ranked 26th when it came to the category “Opportunity and Compensation” for doctors. However, we rank very low in “Medical Environment,” at 48th overall.

    The best state for doctors according to the study is Montana. Followed by Minnesota, Idaho, Wisconsin, and Kansas. The worst state for the profession is Rhode Island followed by Alaska, New York, Washington D.C., and New Jersey.
