    Hot Springs State Park named one of the greatest in the U.S.

    While most 10’rs already knew our neighbors to the north in Thermopolis have the best hot springs, but now it’s official. Hot Springs State Park was recently named one of the best hot springs in the United States by Travel + Leisure Magazine, a worldwide travel influencer.

    “No matter the season, natural hot springs offer relaxing, geothermal waters in often scenic settings,” according to Travel + Leisure.

    Hot Springs State Park Superintendent Kevin Skates is quick to agree, “Water is nature’s blood and we are fortunate to have some of the best in the world!”

    The article, titled “10 of the Best Hot Springs in the United States,” featured Hot Springs State Park on top of the list. Travel + Leisure’s highlight said, “Named Thermopolis for its many natural hot springs, this town is home to Hot Springs State Park. Visitors can soak in the public bathhouse’s 104-degree waters for free. Keep an eye out for bison, and be sure to check out the petroglyphs at Legend Rock while you’re there.”

    Wyoming Office of Tourism announced the designation and further stated that Wyoming earned two spots on the list which were Hot Springs State Park and Yellowstone National Park.
