    High Wind Warning in place for Fremont County Wednesday

    The National Weather Service office in Riverton has issued a high wind warning for much of Wyoming, including Fremont County.

    Strong winds will develop as the day continues. Northwest winds of 30 to 40 mph are possible with gusts of up to 60 mph.

    This could impact travel conditions for light, high profile vehicles, and trailers.

    The Riverton and Lander areas had a 20% of snow this afternoon. Wind chill temperatures will reach below zero, as low as -15 tonight.

    Dubois has a 70% chance of snow this afternoon. Wind chill temperatures at -10 are expected overnight.

    Thursday is expected to remain breezy, but Wednesday should be the windiest day of the week according to the current forecast.
