    High blood alcohol level reported in Casper resident who fell off cliff near Shoshoni in August

    The 63-year-old Casper resident who died after falling over the edge of a sandstone cliff formation near Shoshoni on August 29th has been identified as Warren Harris.

    The Fremont County Coroner’s report was released today, September 22nd, and shows a blood alcohol level of .206% under the “relevant toxicology.” His cause of death is listed as “blunt force trauma to the chest and head resulting from a fall from a height,” and his manner of death has been reported as “accident.”

    The initial report on Harris’ death from the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office stated “the incident appears to be a tragic accident but remains under investigation by the FCSO and Fremont County Coroner.”

    County 10 has reached out to the FCSO for an update on the investigation but has not heard back at this time. We will share an update if additional information is released.
