    High blood alcohol level reported in 54-year-old ATV crash victim

    The 54-year-old Fremont County resident who was found deceased in an apparent ATV wreck outside of Lander on North Fork Road at the end of September has been identified as Robert Bundy.

    The Fremont County Coroner’s report released October 9th shows a blood alcohol level of .218% under the “relevant toxicology.” Which is above the legal limit of 0.08% to operate a vehicle, according to alcohol.org.

    The Coroner’s report states his cause of death as “mechanical asphyxia due to rollover ATV crash,” and his manner of death as “accidental.”

    The incident information released by the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office on September 21st stated, “initial investigation indicates that this appears to be a tragic accident and no foul play is suspected.” This has been under investigation of the FCSO and FCC.

    County 10 has reached out to the FCSO to see if they have any additional information on the investigation but has not heard back at this time. We will share an update if any new information is released.
