Herrera remembered for his contributions to county at Tuesday’s Commission meeting
(Lander, Wyo.) – Tuesday’s Fremont County Commissioners meeting in Lander began on a somber note with the board taking a moment to remember the contributions of Trinidad Herrera, 74, who died on October 3rd. Herrera was the driving force behind the establishment of the Fremont County Veteran’s Memorial that now sits on the front lawn of the courthouse. Herrera also made numerous contributions to Veteran’s organizations in the county and to the Wind River Heritage Center in Riverton with the donation of mining equipment from an underground mine at Jeffrey City.
