Hernandez, Wildcat and Ray take FCSD#25 Oath of Office Tuesday night

(Riverton, Wyo.) – The first order of business at Tuesday night’s Riverton School Board meeting was to welcome a newly elected member and welcome back two re-elected members.

“Jeremy Hernandez, you won the election and you are now appointed to fill out Lorenzo Choinard’s term,” said Chairman Carl Manning. Choinard resigned from the board last month after he relocated to Cheyenne and sold his Riverton home. Manning also welcomed back Jenni Wildcat and Jody Ray,who were re-elected. District Attorney Joel Vincent then administered the oath of office to all three.

Without exception, board members welcomed Hernandez as did Superintendent Terry Snyder. “Service to kids and the community is so much more than people realize,” Snyder said. “We have a quality and smooth operating board. Thank you for your service.”
