    Heavy snow possible in western Wyoming Thursday

    (Wyoming) – The National Weather Service office in Riverton is projecting heavy snow is possible on the western edge of the state.

    The Jackson area could receive 4-6 inches of new snow, while Afton may see up to 8 inches of new powder.

    Fremont County will remain mainly dry Thursday, however the Wind River Range and Lander-area could see some flurries.
