    Heat begins ramping up, Air Quality Alert in effect until 1 pm Thursday

    (Fremont County, WY) – Shoshoni and Riverton are expected to hit the low 90s Thursday while other areas stay in the high 80s. Dubois is expected to be the coolest with a high of only 82 degrees.

    “Mostly sunny skies, light winds and dry weather today,” according to the National Weather Service in Riverton. “Isolated showers and thunderstorms this afternoon across the northern portion of the state. Heat begins to build in for the weekend.”

    There is also an Air Quality Alert until 1 pm today for areas of Fremont County including Dubois and the Lander foothills. Read the full details here.
