(Dubois, WY) – The Wind River Ranger District of the Shoshone National Forest will temporarily close a portion of Forest Service Road (FSR) 540, Pelham Lake Road, on June 3rd and 4th to replace a culvert.
This temporary road closure northwest of Dubois will begin approximately three miles from the junction of FSR 540 with US Highway 26 and will allow crews to safely replace a damaged culvert. During the temporary closure, Pelham Lake will not be accessible by FSR 540.
“This short closure will allow us to ensure the safety of Pelham Lake Road as we move into the busy summer season,” said District Ranger Jeff von Kienast.
