(Fremont County, WY) – The National Weather Service in Riverton announced the radar that serves western and central Wyoming will be undergoing a radar generator replacement beginning Thursday, May 6th.
The radar is expected to be down for approximately 10 days, according to the NWSR update. They recommend using the following adjacent radars during the outage: Billings, Cheyenne, Pocatello, or Salt Lake City.
