(Shoshoni, WY) – It’s going to be a busy weekend in Shoshoni next week with two haunted houses, and a community BBQ and trunk or treat.

Haunted houses kick off the weekend Friday, October 29th, at both the Shoshoni Senior Center and the Shoshoni Library.

The Shoshoni Haunted House at the Senior Center has been an annual event for over a decade and they are ready to give you a scare this year from 6-9 pm on both October 29th and 30th. The cost is $3 per person with a canned good or $5 per person without.

The Shoshoni Recreation District asks that everyone please respect the rules and don’t damage anything or hurt others. Over 300 hours of work goes into putting this annual event together.

While parents and older kids are busy at the Senior Center finding out what is at the end of this hallway, the littles can hang out for free at the Little One’s Haunted House at the Shoshoni Library both nights as well from 3-8 pm.

Don’t let the haunted houses wear you out, on Saturday night, October 30th, the Town of Shoshoni is hosting a trunk or treat and BBQ for the community at the Town Plaza from 5-7:30 pm. This is free and you never know, maybe you’ll get to play basketball with the chief of police.
