Harold B. Myers, Jr. (63) passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Riverton Memorial Hospital in Riverton, WY. No services will be held.
Harold B. Myers, Jr. was born on August 3, 1956 to Harold B. Myers, Sr. and Elizabeth Myers. He was born in Okinawa, Japan during a typhoon. He moved to Riverton from Colorado in 2013 and was very active with the Set Free Church. He took classes at Central Wyoming College and earned a certified nursing assistant license. He continued his education and graduated from CWC with an AAS in Technical Studies in May 2018. He worked for Wind River Rehabilitation and Wellness.
Harold was like a big brother to the other students at CWC. There were several males in a particular class and a few of them were not very mature. He would call them out in a nice but firm way about being more respectful, mature and responsible. He had a passion to help people, and he cared so much about the other students and staff. He was always a willing volunteer to let the students practice their phlebotomy skills on him. He loved working with the patients at the nursing home job and was working so hard to overcome some very difficult things in his life. He was a very giving person and usually always donated money towards one needy family almost every Christmas while he was a student. He will be missed.
Harold was a carpenter by trade in his early years. He loved fishing, traveling and sleeping underneath the stars while camping to enjoy the beautiful views nature had to offer.
He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth, sisters Lori Trifunac and Lisa Navarrone along with several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Memorials in Harold’s name may be made to the Set Free Church in care of Davis Funeral Home, 2203 West Main Street, Riverton, WY 82501.
