(Lander, WY) – The 13th annual Lander Riverfest, is currently underway in Lander City Park, and will be going on until 6 PM.
Riverfest, put on by the Lander Art Center, is a day filled with music and all forms of art, including wood work, jewelry, spoken word, paintings, a little bit of everything.
County 10 spoke with the Doug Spriggs, Executive Director of the Lander Art Center, and long time Board Member Nancy Pieropan, who were both excited to see folks getting out into the community and soaking up the art scene.

“This is a very strong art community,” Spriggs stated, who is in his first year in the Director position. “It’s extremely encouraging to see all the local support.”
“Lander has been opening with flying colors this summer,” Pieropan commented. “And that’s what the Lander Art Center is all about, flying colors!”
Get on over to Lander City Park and check out Riverfest. Currently there is a musician’s open mic, and at 3 PM local Lander band The Dystopians will take the stage.
