    Gray wolf protections across most of the United States ended by Trump officials

    Trump administration officials have removed the Endangered Species Act protections for gray wolves across most of the United States.

    The United States Department of the Interior made the announcement Thursday morning.

    In 1974, the United States Fish and Wildlife Service listed gray wolves as endangered for the first time. In 1995, gray wolves were reintroduced into Yellowstone National Park and parts of Idaho.
