    Governor signs proclamation celebrating Yellowstone’s 150th year as a National Park

    (Statewide) – In honor of its 150th year, Governor Mark Gordon has signed a proclamation celebrating Yellowstone’s sesquicentennial year, according to a post on his official Facebook page.

    On March 1, 1872, Yellowstone became the first national park “for all to enjoy the unique hydrothermal and geologic features,” and is now its 150th year in operation.
