Gloria Apodaca Boyd, 66, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming with her loving family at her side. A rosary will be held on Friday, April 3, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Margaret’s Church. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Church.
Gloria was born to David and Sibilia Apodaca on April 3, 1953. She graduated from Riverton High School in 1972. She married Neil Hamilton in May of 1973. They had one son Christopher Hamilton and a daughter Tracy (Hamilton) Shells. They were later divorced but remained friends. Years later she married Keith Boyd but were later divorced. Gloria enjoyed working in her garden, spending time with her family, singing and making others laugh.
She is survived by her son Chris Hamilton, daughter Tracy (Eddie) Shells, grandchildren Josh (Kylie) Shells, Jasmine Shells, Jordan Shells, Eddie Shells II, Abbi Hamilton, Jhett Hamilton, Jaci Hamilton and 6 great-grandchildren. Mother Sibilia Apodaca, siblings Ruth (John) Martinez, Ann (John) Roybal, Mary Schrinar, Dave Apodaca, Theresa (Bruce) Rowell, Robert (Julie) Apodaca, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her father David Apodaca, niece Shauna Martinez, ex-husbands Neil Hamilton and Keith Boyd.
Memorials may be made to St. Margaret’s Catholic Church or St. Margaret’s School.
