In March 2020, Principal Nick Schafer at St. Margaret’s School in Riverton saw a need to help out the school and the families with children who attend.
“When the pandemic started, I saw that people were worried about their jobs and stressed with just about everything. This inspired the “Angel Fund” which is a donation program that helps with scholarships to the school. We put it in the weekly newsletter that goes to parents and church members and people were so generous. Now when someone is worried they can’t pay, we can help them out. This in turn helps out St. Margaret’s School,” stated Principal Schafer.
The Angel Fund worked out so well that all students were able to stay in school. No one was turned away. It also helps new students who may want to attend but can’t afford it.
