The Riverton library is hosting a second “Get Out The Vote” concert this fall on Saturday, October 20th.
The event is designed to help potential voters with an easy path to registration, as well as to let everyone enjoy some live entertainment.
Staff and volunteers will be helping residents register to vote between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. inside of the library. (1330 W. Park Ave)
Popular Riverton-based rock band Drones Over Yellowstone will provide entertainment beginning at 4:00 p.m.
The 2018 general election is Tuesday, November 6th.
The Riverton Branch Library also hosted a “Get Out To Vote” concert in June, helping get ready for the August primary election.
Of the over 17,500 registered voters in Fremont County, 10,058 voted in the primary election. 8,270 of those voted Republican, 1,598 Democrat.
