“I first met Richard Gard in 1979. My wife and I had just moved here from Cody. Rich was a home builder and I did home loans. We were both on the board of the Fremont County Homebuilders Association which was active at that time.
Richard has been successful in business as a partner in Gardcrafted and Professional Home Design. He has been a coach, a city councilman and has served on the airport board.
Rich wants to see a working community hospital. He will co-ordinate with the Save the Hospital group to improve our health care options.
He will help establish a business atmosphere in Riverton that will be conducive to growth. Richard Gard understands business.
Improving upon youth activities, including academics, sports, and recreation are endeavors that he will support. His record as city councilman is proof of that.
When elected, Mayor Gard will be tough on crime. He will be a strong supporter of law enforcement in order to clean up the drinking atmosphere and crime in the city.
