(Riverton, WY) – Wednesday morning began with Shoshoni’s Wranglers in first place of the 2021 County 10 Mascot Challenge.
That changed quickly with a surge of votes mid-morning for the Frontier Academy Phoenix. The Riverton school had 25% of the overall vote as of 9:15 a.m. The Wranglers slipped to second place, while Wind River’s Cougars continue to hang out in third.
The top eight mascots will move on to the next round, which includes head-to-head match-ups. The four mascots with the least amount of votes will be eliminated. Mascots are then seeded based on the number of votes they get in round one (I.E. 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7.)
First round voting wraps up Thursday, February 25th at 3:00 p.m. MST.
