Reports of a motorcycle crash on Highway 26 northwest of Dubois came in around 2:00 pm on Friday, August 2nd.

Wyoming Highway Patrol shares a witness reported a white truck passing a group of motorcyclists on Highway 26 headed toward Dubois. Allegedly, the driver of the truck was unable to pass them all at once and cut into the group. The driver slammed on their brakes causing one motorcyclist to slam on their brakes as well. The motorcycles’ brakes locked up and is believed to have rolled twice.

The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and transported to Idaho Falls hospital. Current condition was not reported. The truck did not stop and was not found.

Wyoming Highway Patrol and WYDOT shared tips last week for motorists and motocyclists during this busy time of year. Details can be found here.
