On the evening of April 11th, a Fremont County Sheriff’s Office deputy working at an area grocery store witnessed an individual, later determined to be Redtomahawk, as she made her way toward the exit on a motorized cart loaded with merchandise.

As she approached, the deputy made eye contact with Redtomahawk, who attempted to conceal her face with her sweatshirt, but the deputy reportedly recognized Redtomahak from the 3 previous motorized cart theft attempts.

The deputy then addressed her by name, and asked for a receipt.

At this point Redtomahawk allegedly stood up and tried to walk past the deputy, who stopped her and asked for a receipt a second time.

Redtomahawk reportedly claimed her sister was in the car with the receipt for the items they were “returning.”

The deputy advised that this was not true, stating the cart was empty when she entered the store, then referenced the past incidents of theft.

At this point Redtomahawk pled with the deputy to let her go, and began refusing to answer the deputy’s questions while waiting in the Asset Protection Office.

Store associates then provided the deputy with a receipt of the merchandise, which totalled just over $450.

While the deputy awaited a checkup on the requested wants and warrants from dispatch, Tomahawk allegedly stated she “wanted to fight,” backtracked when the deputy advised her not to, then began pleading once more to be let go.

The deputy was then advised by dispatch that Tomahawk had an active FCSO warrant and an active trespass notice from the store. The deputy then cuffed Tomahawk, who refused to hold still and cooperate.

When the deputy began conducting her pat down inspection of Tomahawk for potential weapons or contraband, she discovered a hypodermic needle located in her bra.

Redtomahawk, who had become “increasingly less cooperative,” was then taken to the patrol vehicle so the needle could be extracted from her article of clothing. While this occurred, the deputy also discovered an empty baggy and a suspected crystalline methamphetamine rock.

As of this writing, Redtomahawk’s guilty plea awaits approval after the pre-sentencing report is reviewed.
