Fremont County unemployment rate remains highest in state, slightly down from last year

June unemployment numbers for Wyoming were released this week, and Fremont County is slightly lower than it was this time last year.

In June 2017, the unemployment rate was 5.4% and June 2018 was 5.2%.

That is, however, still the highest current unemployment rate in the state, a title that Fremont County has held all but one month so far in 2018.
