    Fremont County unemployment rate continues to fall

    The Research & Planning section of the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services reported today, August 25th, that Wyoming’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell from 7.6% in June to 7.1% in July.

    Fremont County fell from 7.8% in June to 7% in July. The local unemployment rate has continued to decline since it’s peak rate of 9.3% in April which is attributed to large disruptions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
