Fremont County School Districts release Smart Start drafts for state approval

Fremont County Schools Districts must have their Smart Start drafts submitted to the Wyoming Board of Education by August 3rd in order to be approved for the Fall 2020 Semester. Fremont County School Districts that have their drafts finalized and open to the public are districts #1, 2, 6, 14, 25.

These plans include an increase in sanitation, health screenings and masks requirements when students are not able to social distance properly. Each plan is designed to meet the needs of their school district.

County 10 will give updates once school districts have been approved by the Wyoming Board of Education.


St. Stephens Indian School and Fort Washakie announced that they will remain to have distance virtual learning.


County 10 is awaiting private schools such as Trinity Lutheran Schools and Saint Margaret for public releases on their reopening plans.
