Fremont County School District #21 providing students in need with internet

Fremont County School District #21 (FCSD #21) is working with Wind River Internet to provide internet to students who do not have connectivity in their homes.

The district is able to provide this in part through a $5,000 donation made by former Wyoming gubernatorial candidate Foster Friess and his wife Lynnette. The Friess’ donation along with money from Fremont County BOCES they are able to provide internet access to around 50 homes, shared FCSD #21 Superintendent Terry Ebert.

“Connecting students to the internet is important because of the adaptive learning plans,” Terry said. “It’s vital to have internet in the home.”
