Fremont County residents are expected to see smokey conditions increasing throughout Tuesday and into Wednesday night, according to Riverton’s National Weather Service office.
Wildfires burning to the west, specifically California and Utah are responsible for the haze that we’ll see.
Most of the smoke is expected Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning. It will likely dissipate Wednesday afternoon with a chance of rain showers.

The gradual warm up continues today. Winds will be light & the sky sunny, but smoke moving in from wildfires west will obscure it. #wywx pic.twitter.com/RFGT56WDoD
