    Fremont County Public Health shares back-to-school COVID vaccination info

    (Fremont County, WY) – Fremont County Public Health shared today, July 19th, that they have the Pfizer vaccine which is approved for those ages 12 and up.

    This is a 2 dose Covid vaccine and each dose is separated by 21 days. Information on the Pfizer vaccine can be found here.

    “We are currently utilizing an online scheduling and registration system for the COVID vaccine called Wyoming PrepMod,” FCPH said. “If you are interested in getting your child in for the Pfizer COVID vaccination before school starts, we are offering weekly clinics in both Riverton and Lander.”

    “Schedule an appointment soon if you are wanting your child fully vaccinated before school starts,” FCPH continued.

    Please note they are not able to schedule other required school vaccines through the PrepMod link. If your child needs routine school vaccines please call their office, phone number shared below, to schedule an appointment.

    Free COVID testing is still available at the Curative trailers; located at the Wind River Hotel & Casino in Riverton and Shoshone Rose Casino in Lander. Schedule a testing appointment here.

    Free Vault tests are also still available at Fremont County Public Health. This is a self-administered saliva test done in your own home. You must have internet access to be able to do the Vault test.
