    Fremont County musician takes 2nd place at 2022 Wyoming Singer Songwriter Competition

    (Ten Sleep, WY) – The 2022 Wyoming Singer Songwriter Competition was held in Ten Sleep over the weekend, and for the third year in a row a Fremont County resident is in one of the top spots.

    Last year’s first place winner Christian Wallowing Bull took second place this year, finishing behind the first place winner Steven Davis from Rock Springs.

    Zach Scott from Casper nabbed third place.

    Wallowing Bull’s song “Ricochet” was the 4th overall favorite song from the judges, with the following list being the final ranking:

    • #1 “Heathens” by Zach Scott TIED with
    • #2 “Don’t Drink and Drive No More” by Steven Davis
    • #3 “Stardust” by Steven Davis
    • #4 “Ricochet” by Christian Wallowing-Bull
    • #5 “Roan and Rope” by Jordan Smith TIED with “Preacher Man” by The Man in Tan

    As for audience favorites, Lander Resident and first place winner of the Lander qualifier Adam Kirkpatrick took second place for favorite artist and song.
