    Fremont County high school soccer sweeps the weekend

    (Fremont County, WY) – A sweep was on the menu for Lander Valley and Riverton High School this weekend. Both schools would combine for a total of 24 goals this weekend.

    On Friday, Riverton made the trip to Newcastle in a conference matchup. The Lady Wolverines would shut out the Lady Doggies winning 2-0. Riverton also scored a win on Friday 4-0. Riverton’s next home games are on Friday, when they are back on the road against Buffalo, and they’ll play at home Saturday against Torrington.

    Lander Valley’s offense could not be stopped on Saturday against Lyman. The Lady Tigers were able to complete their third straight shut out, winning 7-0. In the last three games, the Lady Tigers have outscored their opponents 28-0. The Lander boys were able to defeat Lyman as well winning 11-0. Lander will play Worland tomorrow at home. The Lady Tigers will play at 3 p.m. The Tigers will play at 5 p.m. They will also meet Cody on Thursday at home.
