(Fremont County, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners announced Monday afternoon that they will lift the county-wide fire restrictions on September 1st, 2021. Their decision is based on the recommendation of Fremont County Fire Warden Craig Haslam.
Even though we have been experiencing wetter and cooler weather, Fire Warden Haslam stated caution still needs to be adhered to as a result of dry fuels in the lower elevations.
The Commissioners advise everybody to remain cautious and diligent.
The ban went into effect at noon on June 23rd.
