“Fremont County Fair will be held as close to normal as possible,” says Fair Board

The Fremont County Fair Staff and Board have shared the following release:

Fremont County, “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet!” However, you WILL see a 2020 Fremont County Fair that will look a little different.

The Fremont County Fair Staff and Fair Board have officially decided that the Fremont County Fair will be held as close to normal as possible. We are planning to have all 4-H and FFA Livestock Shows, Youth Horse Show, Junior Livestock Sale all 4-H, FFA and Open Class Exhibits. The annual Fair Parade is scheduled for July 25 at 10 am down Main Street, Riverton. With deep regret, due to the COVID crisis and budget cuts, we will be unable to host the PRCA Rodeo this year. Decisions on the evening events are on hold as we determine our ability to follow the COVID-19 restrictions. As new guidelines are handed down by the Governor and State Health Officer, we will be revisiting our ability to hold those and other events and will keep the county residents informed.

A Fair Events Schedule and fair Premium Book, by department, will be available on our website at www.fremontcountyfair.org. Guidelines for camping and exhibiting will be released to 4-H Educators and FFA Advisors to be shared with exhibitors. If you have questions please call the fair office and we will be happy to assist you.

We look forward to seeing you at the 2020 Fremont County Fair!
