Freezers are a little fuller for a few lucky local winners

(Riverton, WY) – Two local winners and a donation recipient collected their quarter of a buffalo today, March 9th at Genuine Meats in Riverton from the raffle fundraiser held at the Fall Harvest Festival this past September.

Brandy Crawford and Amy Wusz picked up their meat along with the donation recipient, Eagles Hope. Justin Clyde, the third raffle winner, was not in attendance this morning.

The meat was donated by RHS alumnus and community supporter John Dilday. The buffalo came from Bridger Valley Buffalo out of Lyman, which was selected by John because of their focus on care and health.

Money raised from this raffle went toward the newly founded Riverton Ambassadors’ RHS Community Scholarship. The criteria for the scholarship is “volunteer work, above and beyond.” A combined total of $4,000 has been raised for the scholarship – this number includes all of the fundraisers, not just this raffle.
