Four Fremont County groups to receive funding awards from Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund

    The Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund board awarded $256,760 to 21 projects around the state at their recent grant review meeting held in Laramie.

    Awards were given to a wide variety of projects, from theatre equipment, building improvements, endowment challenge, summer music concerts, historic preservation and archaeological research, museum traveling exhibit, to saddle making podcasts and a documentary production.

    Four places in Fremont County will receive a portion of the finances, including the Atlantic City Historical Society, Fremont County School District #1, the Wind River Development Fund, and Wyoming PBS.


    Below is a breakdown of all 21 projects.

    Albany County

    Culture Conservation Corps, Custom Saddle Making Podcasts, $8,000

    Campbell County
