(Fremont County, WY) – Four Fremont County student-athletes were recognized along with several others across the state recently for the scholar-athlete awards given out each year by the Wyoming Chapter of the National Football Foundation.
Two finalists from each classification will be even $1,200 scholarships and the top scholar athlete will earn an additional $1,200 scholarship. Awards criteria is based on 40% academic achievement, 40% football ability, and 20% extracurricular activities and citizenship.
All winners had to have had at least a 3.0 GPA.
Fremont County winners include:
Wind River: Colter Collver
Shoshoni: Kaden Dower
Lander: Jack Sweeney
Riverton: Rylan Koehn
