Star gazers across Fremont County have had the opportunity to see four planets with the naked eye this week.
Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn have all been visible. Some projected cloud cover Wednesday and Thursday evening may make it more difficult to see them, however.
The National Weather Service office in Riverton recently snapped some pictures outside of their office, near the Riverton Regional Airport that shows the four planets, and helps describe where to look for them.
With the quiet weather, here is some astronomy. Jupiter and Venus are fairly close to each other, looking SSW from WFO Riverton with the Wind River Mountains in the background. #wywx #astronomy pic.twitter.com/QK7mCHWZ3X
