Four county basketball players make Wyoming Coaches Association all-star game

Rosters for the 2018 Wyoming Coaches Association all-star basketball teams were recently announced and they feature four county athletes.

Each of the Fremont County athletes will play for the north squad, as games are north vs. south teams.


The boys all-stars include Riverton’s Ridge McCoy and Wind River’s Jayin Trumbull. John Hepp of Buffalo will coach the north team, and Lex Cornia of Evanston coaches the south.

The girls roster has Riverton’s Leighanna Shoulderblade and Lander’s Jade Ware. Gillette’s Mitch Holst coaches the north team, while Lusk’s Deb Murray will coach the south.

Games will be played at Casper College Saturday, July 21st. The boys begin at 5:00 p.m. and the girls at 3:00 p.m. Practices begin on July 18th.
