This week, Foundations for Nations Ministries in Riverton has taken over The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) in partnership with the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies. The previous TEFAP distributor in Riverton closed their doors just over a month ago.
Fremont County residents eligible for TEFAP can pick-up their monthly food distribution on Tuesdays between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm at the back entrance of Foundations for Nations at 620 East Monroe. As a reminder, TEFAP recipients must bring an ID to the pick-up.

Not only does Foundations for Nations provide the much-needed TEFAP distribution, but they also have a food pantry that is open to anyone in need. Their regular food pantry hours are Tuesdays between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm (same as TEFAP) and Thursdays from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
