Last year, Fort Washakie High School students created a documentary film that raises awareness about the epidemic of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW). The documentary can now be viewed by clicking here.
In December, County 10 shared their film titled, Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, premiered at the 13th Annual LA Skins Fest in late November 2019. There, they received the “Achievement in Student Filmmaking Award.”
“We are extremely proud of their efforts to raise awareness to a cause they hold dear to their hearts,” Fort Washakie High School staff noted.
