Former Riverton High School star athlete Naya Shime has won arguably the state’s most prestigious individual athletic award, the Milward Simpson Award.

Naya competed in volleyball, track, and basketball for the Lady Wolverines. In November, Naya signed to play volleyball at the University of Wyoming.
