(Arapahoe, Wyoming) Wyoming Food Bank in partnership with the Arapahoe Schools will be handing out food from 11am till 1pm today at Arapahoe School Muliti-Purpose room.
Joe Hermocillo works with the food bank and says this food distribution has been going on for the last 4 months. This time local farmers donated buffalo meat.
“We’ve averaged anywhere between 300-400 (people), or 150 families that we have given food to at each distribution,” Hermocillo said.
Hermocillo also said this is an effort to provide the community with fresh food and plans to be doing the food drive on a monthly basis.
